Girls with Unnatural power in Bollywood

Ladies in the Hindi film industry are better known for their dancing skills and sex appeal than their kickass skills.

But these days, it seems that the ladies are not the helpless type anymore; they do not care to wait for their heroes to rescue them. They just clean up their own mess.

Latest in the band of these action heroines is Esha Deol in Anubhav Sinha's Cash, which sees her deftly maneuvering cars in high speed chases and performing high flying kicks in the air! And the best part is the actress has performed the stunts herself, refusing to use a duplicate.

Besides Esha, Cash stars Ajay Devgan, Riteish Deshmukh, Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty, Shamita Shetty and Dia Mirza will also be seen in action.

She's a thief who stole another thief's heart!

Playing Sunehri, Ash never looked more beautiful. Though Hrithik hogged most of the limelight, Ash didn't lag far behind, either.

Looking bronzed and fit, the actress performed most of the stunts herself. According to her, the high the jump from Orabi Gorge (when Hrithik's character challenges her to jump) was her most memorable stunt.

Anubhav Sinha's big budget venture had everything -- an edgy background score, high-flying ensemble cast, and of course, Shilpa Shetty.

This hottie does a Lara Croft convincingly with impressive martial arts kicks. The only woman in the testosterone filled anti-terrorism squad led by Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, and Zayed Khan, stole the show.

She can dance, sing and... fight!

The actress took on Zeenat Aman's role in the original classic, and came out shining. Not only did she look the part, she even played the part by training hard for it.

The result? A series of no nonsense martial arts moves that would even make Jackie Chan proud!

Indeed, she held her own with Shah Rukh Khan in this remake of the Amitabh Bachchan's cult classic by Chandra Barot.

The former Miss Universe took on a solo 'hero' role of a cop and managed quite well in this thriller.

Looking comfortable in shirts and trousers, she does not hesitate to order her male counterparts around while wielding the gun with practiced ease.

Writer-director Robby Grewal's Samay showcased the actress' range to perfection -- from a tough, confident cop to a tense and nervous one who knows that she is running out of time.

Army, released in 1996 saw the actress sharing screen space with Danny Denzongpa, Ronit Roy, Ravi Kissen, Mohnish Behl, Sudesh Berry, Harish, and Shah Rukh Khan (in a special appearance).

She commands a group of young men to avenge her husband's death, a far cry from a lone defenseless widow portrayed on screen earlier.

Okay, this may be stretching the action bit too far, but Kajol really rocked in the villainous role, which won her a Filmfare award.

This 1997 thriller, which also starred Bobby Deol and Manisha Koirala, was directed by Rajiv Rai. Paresh Rawal, Om Puri and Raj Babbar also starred in the thriller, which became one of the biggest successes of that year.
